EXECUTIVE BOARD 2021
The role of General Secretary holds a great responsibility that I am willing to take. I will listen to students’ requests and will take into account all the suggestions and ideas given, and I will communicate with whoever it takes to fulfill what is expected of me. I am aiming to have a prospective year with many positive changes and new implementations that would help the student body have a better university experience both academically and socially despite the current pandemic. All of this will happen through proper planning and strong team work with the members of the student council. I believe that I am obligated to help those around me in anyway, and through that I will grow and progress and hopefully inspire others.

As the Associate General Secretary I strive to ensure that all student requests are met. As a representative of the student body, I promise to hear all and do my best to meet all expectations. Through networking and working with the student council team, I want to introduce new programs such as student tutoring and improve on current programs to make student life at GMU a breeze. The University has provided many resources for students and not many are aware of them. Making sure that anything and everything that can help students academically as well as socially will be at the top of my list. In my eyes, everyone is equal and deserves the best treatment. No request or complaint is ever small.

My goals for this year as the Joint Secretary is to provide a direct line of communication between the class representatives and the Dean for the College of Medicine. I hope by initiating this line of communication, the college can have an easier and more efficient way of solving any and all problems and suggestions provided by the class representatives that involve the college of Medicine. This line of communications will work both ways in that the Dean would then be more accessible to the class representatives, and therefore both parties will be sufficiently aware of any situation that may arise.

To have been chosen for this position and given the responsibility to look after the student informative media is an amazing opportunity to build and better the relationship between the student body and the school administration board.
