Inter Professional Community Engagement

In a collaboration between the colleges of Gulf Medical University, an inter-professional education/ community engagement event was conducted for World Diabetes Day 2018 on 14th Nov. from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Venue: Main Foyer of GMU. The event was organized by the College of Pharmacy & College of Nursing.

The following students and faculty of the College of Health Sciences (BPT program) participated in the event and organized a station by providing clinical counselling about the significance of physical exercise in managing and preventing Diabetes Miletus. Handouts of exercise protocols and posters highlighting the role of physiotherapy in diabetes was displayed for the benefit of the community.
