Year 2 BPT students, from Department of Physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences, Ms. Shahwar Fatima Ansari and Ms. Huda Saddik Shaikh won Best Poster award in students’ category at the Second World Congress on Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Medicine on 13th and 14th Dec 2021 held in Dubai. They presented the poster titled “Are You Suffering from Back Pain? Is your footwear correct?”.
Ms. Shahwar reflected on her experience “It was a proud moment to present our college at the International Platform with a mixed experience of fear and happiness. It could not have been possible with the support of our guide Dr. Animesh Hazari and Dean for supporting us. I also wish to thank my family for constant support.”.
Ms. Huda reflected on her experience “It was a day of fun, adventure and celebration to cherish our first experience of such kind. I was overwhelmed with the response of the audience which had enhanced my confidence. The blessings of my parents and almighty made this possible. I believe the support of our guide was the key to achieve this award at early stage of my career. I will look forward to many more in future”.
