Empowering Educators at CoHS, GMU with Faculty Development Session on “Introduction to the New Modules and Updates on DetectedX”

Department of Medical Imaging Sciences conducted a faculty development session on Friday, 9th May 2025 titled “Introduction to the New Modules and Updates on DetectedX.” The session was facilitated by Ms. Putu Irma Wulandari, Customer Support Officer at DetectedX.

The objective of the session was:

  • Familiarize faculty members with the latest DetectedX modules and platform updates.
  • Enhancing teaching effectiveness, student learning experiences and continuous professional development.
  • Preparing students for future challenges in medical imaging.

Dr. Mohammed Rawashdeh, Chairperson and Program Director of the Department of Medical Imaging Sciences, addressed the participants, emphasized the value of utilizing the updates on DetectedX to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve students’ learning experiences, preparing them to meet the future challenges in the field of medical imaging.

“We are committed to continuous faculty development as a means to enhance educational outcomes. Platforms like DetectedX ensures that our educators remain at the forefront of medical imaging advancements, thereby enriching the learning experience of our students.” said Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean of College of Health Sciences highlighting the importance of the session.

The session saw active participation from all faculty members of the Department of Medical Imaging Sciences, reflecting the department’s dedication to staying current with educational technologies and innovations in imaging sciences.
