The department of physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University organized a Webinar on “Lung health in the COVID era: A Physical Therapist Perspective” on 25-09-2022 from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. The agenda of the session was to promote the theme of World Lung Day 2022 (Lung Health for all).
The webinar session was chaired & organized by Praveen Kumar, Dean, College of Health Sciences and coordinated and conducted by Dr. Sampath Kumar, Ass. Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, CoHS, GMU.
The session focussed on the various aspects of lung health and physiotherapy management mainly highlighting Sex differences in respiratory morphology, Covid 19 sequelae and its effect on lung health, and Exercise testing & pulmonary rehabilitation in lung conditions.
Invited international speakers delivered talks which were highly appreciated by active participants. Students, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation professionals attended the sessions.
