College of Health Sciences, GMU signed an agreement for strategic collaboration with Fourier Intelligence to strengthen the ongoing development of the global rehabilitation robotics sector on 29.06.2022.
Gulf Medical University, one of the leading private medical university in region, becomes the latest strategic global partner for Fourier Intelligence, which has MoU relationships with academic and clinical sites around the world to bring together expertise to create the highest standards of world-leading robotics.

Fourier Intelligence (www.fftai.com) is an innovative global technology company focusing on developing, manufacturing, and marketing rehabilitation robotics and exoskeleton. It has launched a RehabHub™ solution concept in 2020 to build an integrated rehabilitation platform that increases the width and depth of information application and gradually makes rehabilitation services quantifiable, standardised and intelligent. Their product portfolio includes a variety of intelligent rehabilitation robots indicated for upper limb, lower limb and movement control recovery. Fourier works very closely with various university networks globally in both clinical application and engineering in rehabilitation technology usage.
The MoU will centre around joint working between the rehabilitation robotics leader and GMU helping to advance the technology available to patients around the world in their rehabilitation.

The partnership will involve the testing of existing and new products created by Fourier Intelligence, which are already in use globally, and will ensure they are optimized to deliver the best possible outcomes for those who need them. It will also focus on research ideas, professional development, and teaching, to share knowledge and best practice in the fast-growing field of rehabilitation robotics.
