On September 10, 2025, the Department of Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology at Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences, Mangaluru, India, hosted a webinar titled “AI in Anesthesia and Operation Theatre.” The event was attended by 54 participants and featured Dr. Aejaz Ahmad, Lecturer in the Department of Anesthesia Technology at College of Health Sciences (CoHS) – Gulf Medical University, UAE, as the guest speaker.
Dr. Aejaz delivered an insightful presentation on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern anesthesia. Drawing on his expertise in anesthetic techniques and patient monitoring, Dr. Aejaz emphasized how AI is reshaping precision and safety in surgical care.
