Physiotherapy students explored the potential of Assistive Technology in Rehabilitation on November 1-2, 2017, a conference held at AL-NOOR – Assistive TECHX 2017. Students interacted with AT scientists, disability role models, families and patients and representatives of UAE government. Students further interacted with Mr. Majid Alusaimi on disability in the region and different changes occurring in this field. The potential utilization of eye gaze technology, haptics and inspiring case studies of AT in special need education were the areas gained more attention and student interest.
