CoHS GMU Congratulates the 3rd batch of Physiotherapy interns who successfully completed the 06 months Post Graduate Internship Training at Thumbay Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Hospital. Interns were awarded Physiotherapy Internship completion certificate on 20.12.2021 upon successful completion of internship training. Dr. Ramprasad M, Chairperson of Department of Physiotherapy, Dr. Watson Arulsingh, Program Director – BPT and Dr. Satheeskumar D, Internship Coordinator congratulated the successful interns and distributed certificates to them.
Physiotherapy Internship is an obligatory period of experiential learning, spanning over 06 months where the graduate of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy is trained to acquire the essential knowledge, skill, and competencies required to function as a Physiotherapist.
This internship period is mandatory for graduates of Bachelor of Physiotherapy for taking the Physiotherapist Licensing examination of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE.
