Dr. Rajasekar Sannasi
Dr. Rajasekar Sannasi joined as Assistant Professor at Gulf Medical University, specialized in sports physiotherapy since Dec. 2024. He has 18 years of teaching, clinical and research experience in the field of orthopedic manual therapy. He has 34 research publications in indexed peer reviewed journals and currently has 190 citations with H index 7. He has involved in few collaborative research projects with institutes such as DNS Prague School, Czech Republic, Myopain Seminars USA. He has completed several internationally recognized certificate courses like spinal manual therapy from Manual Concepts, Australia. He is a certified myofascial trigger point therapist certified by Myopain Seminars, USA. He has also completed advanced fascial manipulation courses certified by FM Institute, Padova, Italy and completed his Doctoral Thesis in the field of Fascial Manipulation. He has delivered numerous enlightening talks and been invited as a speaker for various national and international platforms. He has conducted multiple workshops & seminars on various manual therapy concepts. He is a reviewer of several reputed journals indexed in Scopus (Q1 & 2) and PubMed. He has also served in various job roles such as leading the physiotherapy institute, chairperson of a board of studies, clinical in charge, among others.
