Head of Department

Reporting

  • To the Chancellor Gulf Medical University.

Responsibilities

Role: Head of Communications Division. He is responsible for managing GMU’s public relations efforts, with a focus on news and media relations, and production of various Marketing and communications materials in line with GMU standards. Develop and Implement Various approved Strategies. Responsible for Internal and External Communications.

 

Communications Officer

Reporting

  • To the Head for Communications Department.

Responsibilities

Role: Administrative Specialist in the Communication Department, provides organizational support to the Head of Communications Department. Work includes coordination overall work for the Department, proofreading materials and maintaining several databases, Alumni Communication and Coordination, Receiving Requests for Communication Department. Conduct Weekly and Monthly Meetings. Conduct Website Review meetings. Coordinate with Schools and conduct School Visits. Coordinate for Conducting Events.

 

Marketing Officer

Reporting

  • To the Head for Communications Department.

Responsibilities

The role of Marketing Officer is to assist in the planning, development and delivery of agreed aspects of the marketing, widening access and community engagement activities and student recruitment activities for the University.

He is responsible to attend Job Fairs, Careers Fairs, Skills Events and other activities that may be required as a part of the marketing activities of the University.

Support the day-to-day operations of the team in producing engaging campaigns that drive critical student recruitment targets

Developing advertising campaigns, the university brand and development of creative content

 

Graphic Designer

Reporting

  • To the Marketing officer and Communications Officer.

Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer, works with communicators in GMU colleges, institutes and departments to create visual design concepts using elements of style, color, format and consistency to enforce the Gulf Medical University Brand Standards and institutional marketing objectives. Projects include a wide variety of print publications, displays and other graphic elements needed to meet the university’s design needs and also responsible for designing Mélange Students News Letter.

 

Videographer / Photographer

Reporting

  • To the Marketing officer and Communications Officer.

Responsibilities

As Photographer/Videographer, is in charge of taking still images in addition to video footage of university events and activities ranging from studio to candid situations. Photos will be used for promotional and informational media outlets, in addition to the video segments he shoots and edits together are presented online and for broadcast purposes.
