Successful Alumni Talk and Career Advising Session for Physiotherapy Students

Pt Department, CoHS, GMU is delighted to conduct the Successful alumni talk and Career advising session, “BPT to PhD: A Journey of Excellence” on January 30th, 2024 at GMU. The event featured esteemed alumna Ms. Dalia Al Otti, who shared her invaluable insights and guidance on transitioning from a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy (BPT), COHS GMU to pursuing a Ph.D, at University of Leuven, Belgium.

The talk provided a platform for Ms. Dalia to reflect on personal experiences, challenges, and triumphs, offering a candid and inspiring narrative that resonated with attendees. Later part of the session students had the opportunity to seek personalized advice, ask questions, and receive guidance tailored to their academic and professional aspirations.

Ms. Dalia commented ”Reflecting on my recent visit to my alma mater fills me with gratitude and nostalgia. Speaking to the juniors about my journey was an incredible experience. Their enthusiasm and curiosity reminded me of my own journey not too long ago. Thank you to Dr. Praveen Kumar and the students for welcoming me back with open arms. Can’t wait to see where your paths lead! #AlumniVisit”
