Medical Laboratory Sciences faculty Mr. Marwan Ismail and his students research work was displayed as a poster titled “Neutrophil-Lymphocyte ratio as a biomarker for Urinary tract infection in female patients at Thumbay University Hospital, Ajman” during the Medlab Asia 2023 held between August 16-18, 2023, at the IMPACT Exhibition Centre – Bangkok.
This research was conducted by three BSc MLS semester 8 students: Ms. Bissan Elattar, Ms. Rahaf ka’Ka, and Ms. Samar Alansawi under the supervision of rection of Dr. Hassan Higazi, Dr. Salah Hussein, and Mr. Marwan Ismail.
The educational agenda of the congress aimed to equip medical lab and healthcare professionals, with technical skill sets, research findings, and recommendations on all lab and healthcare related topics. Led by a strong scientific committee, the congress ensures that current issues and innovations are at the centre of all programs.
It was an unmissable opportunity for them as clinical laboratory and healthcare specialists to advance skill sets, get inspired and upgrade their career profile in the ever-changing world of healthcare.
