Research conducted at CoHS, GMU highlighted by Badminton World Federation, Malaysia

Congratulations to Dr. Animesh Hazari and Dr. Praveen Kumar for being noticed on their research contribution to community health on the occasion of World Health Day International celebration by the Badminton World Federation, Malaysia.

BWF has posted and applauded two distinct research works of which one is conducted at Gulf Medical University.

The research has high impact over the older adults and non-communicable disease. It is an honour for the team being recognized at an international platform for their valuable research contribution.

Dr. Animesh and Dr. Praveen conducted the research titled “Badminton for Cardiovascular & Neuromuscular function among older adults with and without non-communicable disease” following a research grant from Badminton World Federation, Malaysia. Ms. Sondos Jalgoum has also contributed to this research work as MPT student.
