Physiotherapy Students of CoHS, GMU Conduct Text Neck Syndrome Screening and Awareness Program at Habitat School, Ajman

Physiotherapy students of Department of Physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University conducted a community engagement activity on 9th May 2023 at Habitat School, Al-Jurf, Ajman.

Around 600 students at the Habitat School were screened for Text Neck Syndrome and provided with text neck syndrome awareness education and appropriate preventive physiotherapy program.

BPT students of different years namely Ms. Fiza (2019pt25), Ms. Hadil (2020PT08), Ms. Rawan (2020PT34), Mr. Gamal (2020PT41), Ms. Mariam Deif (2020PT28), Ms. Ingy (2019PT17), under the guidance of Dr. Sukumar Shanmugam conducted this activity.

The principal, teachers, staff and students at the Habitat School were satisfied with the community services provided to them and they also requested us to deliver similar awareness program every year and to the other school students.
