Physiotherapy students of Department of Physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University conducted a community engagement activity on 28th April 2023 at Car Taxi Office, Ajman.
Around 40 taxi drivers were screened for musculoskeletal problems and treated with musculoskeletal health awareness education and appropriate physiotherapy treatments.

BPT MPT and BPT students of different years namely Ms. Fatima Abdul Rashid (2022MPT07), Ms. Wajiha Anwar (2022MPT06), Ms. Huda Mohamed Saddik (2020PT22), Mr. Anas Mohamed (2020PT02), Mr. Omar Ahmadi (2020PT11), Mr. Abdulrahman Sami (2020PT15), Mr. Mohammed Fadl Rasheed (2020PT20), Mr. Muhammad Abdullah (2020PT33), Mr. Ammar (2020PT18), (Mr. Musammil Anwar (2019PT11), Mr. Alen Joy (2019PT44) and Mr. Atharva Paulekar (2019PT07) under the guidance of Dr. Sukumar Shanmugam conducted this activity.

The office bearers and taxi drivers of the Ajman Car Taxi were satisfied with the community services provided to them and they also requested us to deliver similar awareness program to the others professional taxi drivers.
