Ms. Divya Prakash (2022MPT03) MPT 1st year student and Ms. Sara Ghori (2021PT40) BPT 2ndyear students were the speakers for Student Lead Discussion on ”CO-CREATING ASSESSMENTS AND RUBRICS” on 25.01.2023 conducted for the faculty, Department of Physiotherapy, CoHS. They were trained to take up this session by participation in a workshop organized by The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), UK on 19th January 2023.

This session was aimed to build a shared understanding of assessment to help students understand how assessments are designed. With academics and students working together to engage in constructive dialogue and reflect on the process of co-creating an assessment. These student presenters could discuss the types, merits and limitations of cocreating assessment and were willing to take part in making rubrics for assessment components of courses respectively for BPT and MPT programs. Materials generated are also attached for further reading.

Praveen Kumar, Dean, CoHS commented: “It is very promising to see students taking interest and actively learning from international experts and sharing the same with the faculty. This practice motivates and encourages students to actively participate in all processes of education.”
