CoHS, GMU Congratulates the 6th batch of Physiotherapy interns who successfully completed the 06 months Post Graduate Internship Training at Thumbay Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Hospital. 09 interns were awarded Physiotherapy Internship completion certificate on 28.11.2022 upon successful completion of internship training. Dr. Praveen Kumar K, Dean, CoHS, Dr. Kamel, Director of TPTRH, Dr. Ramprasad M, Chairperson, Department of Physiotherapy, Dr. Satheeskumar D, Internship Coordinator, Ms. Sharmila Banu, Internship supervisor, and clinical therapists distributed certificates and congratulated the successful trainees. All of the dignitaries and guests recognized the intern work and congratulated the interns on the successful completion of their internship.
Physiotherapy Internship is an obligatory period of experiential learning, spanning over 06 months where the graduate of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy is trained to acquire the essential knowledge, skill, and competencies required to function as a Physiotherapist.
This internship period is mandatory for graduates of Bachelor of Physiotherapy for taking the Physiotherapist Licensing examination of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE.
