Students and Faculty of Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, CoHS, GMU had a remarkable presence at the LIFE – Laboratory Insights for Excellence conference, held on October 22-23, 2024, Dubai.
Faculty and students presented a total of five research posters, demonstrating their research work in the field of laboratory sciences.
Among the poster presentations were three BSc. MLS student-led projects and one MSc MLS student research project:
- Ms. Alaa (2020ML18), Ms. Rana (2020ML16) and Mr. Abdelrahman (2020ML12) collaborated on a graduating research project and presented as a poster.
- Ms. Nour (2020ML25), Ms. Ranya (2020ML06) and Ms. Duaa (2020ML03) collaborated on a graduating research project and presented as a poster.
- Mr. Mohamed (2020ML34), Ms. Asma (2020ML21) and Ms. Rawand (2020ML05) presented their research work through poster presentation.
- MSc. MLS student Aliya (2022MSCMLS02) highlighted her advanced graduating research as poster.
Additionally, Mr. Marwan Ismail faculty member shared his expertise and contributed to the department’s presence by presenting his own research project.
This diverse range of presentations illustrated the department’s commitment to enhance a rich research culture among students and faculty, allowing them to engage with the broader scientific community and gain valuable feedback on their work. The event underscored Gulf Medical University’s focus on empowering students and faculty to contribute meaningfully to advancements in medical laboratory sciences.
