On 5th June 2022, MSc MLS student/graduate Ms. Khulood Ghanim Obaid (2019-2021 cohort) research paper was published in the International Journal of Biomedicine a Scopus indexed and WOS Journal with her supervisors. The aim of this research was to investigate the association between CRP and ferritin levels, and the severity of COVID-19. The findings of this study indicate that CRP and serum ferritin levels might be considered as an essential indication of the progression and severity of COVID-19. This will motivate the undergraduate and post graduate Medical Laboratory Sciences student researchers to carry out further research and publications in the area of COVID-19.
