Imaging Sciences Students of GMU present at the ARM Conference 2024

Alumni Ms. Nooriah Rooeintan and Ms. Alif Afra Shibu, graduates of the 2023 Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Sciences program, showcased their graduation research titled “Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis in a Patient with Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension: A Case Study” at the Annual Radiology Meeting (ARM) held in Dubai from October 29th to 31st, 2024. Their presentation garnered significant attention and appreciation from both national and international radiology experts.

Their research investigated potential links between COVID-19 vaccination and thrombus formation, offering valuable insights into risk factors and imaging findings that can improve diagnostic accuracy and patient management.
