Faculty members of the Department of Physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences participated in an International Conference- Stride 23 organized by Saveetha University, India on 6th & 7th April 2023.
Dr. Kumaraguruparan Gopal, Program Director/Assistant Professor & Dr. Satheeskumar D, Assistant Professor, CoHS participated in international panel discussions.
Dr. Kumaraguruparan delivered talk on “Role of Physiotherapy on Global Health” and headed the panel discussion as a moderator.
Dr. Satheeskumar delivered a talk on “Recent advancement in paediatric physiotherapy towards global health”.
The conference provided an excellent platform for the faculty members to showcase their research and engage with peers from around the world. More than 1200 physiotherapy students are participated from various states in India and Malaysia. The faculty members gained valuable insights from the conference and represented the CoHS, GMU. Further, the faculty members discussed with the Principal, Vice principal, SCPT about the plan of collaborative research between department of Physiotherapy, CoHS, GMU and Saveetha Collage of Physiotherapy, India.
