Dr. Mostafa Abdelrahman, Associate Professor of Medical Imaging at the College of Health Sciences, GMU chaired scientific session and also delivered a talk at the Annual Radiology Meeting (ARM) in Dubai on the 31st of Oct to the 2nd of Nov. 2023.
Dr. Mostafa talked about the preparedness of radiographers to work with autistic children, which was well appreciated by the organizers and audience.
In his presentation, Dr. Abdelrahman highlighted the need for enhancing ASD-specific knowledge and training and integrating supportive tools in radiographic procedures. This comprehensive approach could significantly improve the radiographic service quality for ASD children in the UAE.
