Dr. Mohammad Rawashdeh, Associate Professor, and Program Director of Medical Imaging Sciences at College of Health Sciences, GMU, delivered a talk as a guest speaker at the Annual Radiology Meeting (ARM) held in Dubai from October 31st to November 2nd, 2023.
Dr. Rawashdeh delivered a presentation titled “Enhancing Radiology through Collaborative Integration of Specialties for Superior Diagnostic Excellence.” His talk was warmly received and highly appreciated by the organizers and the international radiology community in attendance, highlighting the significance of collaborative efforts in advancing the field of radiology.
In his presentation, Dr. Rawashdeh demonstrated how the convergence of radiologists, radiographers, computer engineers, and basic scientists for collective discussions and collaboration is crucial for enhancing radiology’s performance. Radiologists contribute their expertise in image interpretation, radiographers ensure the acquisition of high-quality images, computer engineers develop cutting-edge technologies, and basic scientists provide valuable research insights. Through open and collaborative discussions, they can harness their combined knowledge to improve diagnostic accuracy, advance imaging capabilities, streamline workflows, and ultimately enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
