GMU’s Dr. Mohammad Rawashdeh Shares Insights on Enhancing Safety in Medical Imaging at Arab Health Radiology Meeting 2025

Dr. Mohammad Rawashdeh, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Medical Imaging Sciences, CoHS, GMU was invited by the European Federation of Radiographer Societies to deliver a keynote talk at the Total Radiology Conference / Arab Health held in Dubai from 27th to 30th January, 2025.

Dr. Rawashdeh’s presentation titled, “How Do We Effectively Use CPD to improve Safety?” was warmly received by the International Radiology Community and event organizers in attendance underscoring the value of GMU’s expertise in shaping the future of medical imaging. His talk emphasized the significance of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in enhancing Safety in Medical Imaging Field.

“Medical Imaging professionals must stay updated with the latest technological advancements and evolving diagnostic protocols to provide high-quality patient care. Tailored CPD initiatives enable imaging professionals to reduce errors, improve patient outcomes and maintain the highest standards of safety in their practice” Dr. Rawashdeh explained.
