Department of Physiotherapy of CoHS, GMU welcomed the 2021 cohort of MPT program on October 16,2021 by conducting an orientation program.
Orientation included a welcome address by the Dean, CoHS, followed by detailed information related to study plan, graduation requirements were shared by Dr Ramprasad Chairperson and Program Director. Information related to the semester and the details of all courses was explained and lead faculty conducting different courses were introduced and information related to learning resources, different student supports services, students’ happiness center and procedures and policies to be followed in the university were explained in detail. A tour of the facilities including Thumbay Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Hospital ended with a get together between students and faculty.
Praveen Kumar, Dean, College of Health Sciences commented: “It is a great pleasure to welcome our 2021 cohort of MPT program students. Students have begun an exciting professional journey with a bright future and career ahead, especially when they will be trained in GMU’s state-of-the-art facilities under highly qualified faculty. He laid stress on importance of professional life and lifelong learning process”.
