College of Health Sciences (CoHS), GMU proudly congratulates and extends heartfelt appreciation to all its student representatives who participated in the Student Council Closing Ceremony held on 10th June 2025. The event, marking the official close of a dynamic academic year, celebrated student leadership, collaboration, and the impact of student leadership across campus.
CoHS Student Council Class Representatives for the Academic Year 2024 – 2025 stood out for their dedication, professionalism, and active engagement throughout the ceremony. Their presence not only reflected the college’s core values of excellence, service, and integrity, but also highlighted the vital role of health sciences students in shaping a vibrant and inclusive campus environment. A special moment of felicitation was held during the event, where the representatives were honored for their contributions
The Student Council Members from the College of Health Sciences for the Academic Year 2024 – 2025 actively participated in the event which includes Executive Board Members namely: Diya Thakur-2021PT11 (Student President) , David Wiid -2022PT12(Joint Secretary CoHS), Zainab Razvi-2023MI09 (Sports Officers) , Jiya Sunil Dadhaniya-2024PT16 (Community Engagement Officer) and Student Council Class Representatives 2024-2025 from each batch for all the programs.
Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean of the College of Health Sciences, expressed his pride and gratitude, “Our students have consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment. Their contributions to the Student Council and various student affairs activities this year have been nothing short of inspiring. We thank them for being such excellent ambassadors of CoHS.”
The closing ceremony included recognition of achievements, reflections on the year’s milestones, and a warm handover to the incoming council members.
