In his presentation, Dr. Rawashdeh discussed the high error rates associated with mammography, including radiologists missing between 10% and 30% of cancers and a large number of false positives. He also discussed the causes of these errors, which are related to human factors, technical issues, and patient and lesion factors. Dr. Rawashdeh emphasized the need for a better understanding of these causes and the adoption of technological and educational interventions that can provide immediate feedback to radiologists to improve mammography’s diagnostic efficacy. The organizers and GMU research committee appreciated Dr. Rawashdeh’s talk.
