Dr. Khalid Abbas Owish Sukar Joins Gulf Medical University College of Health Sciences

GMU, College of Health Sciences, faculty and staff welcomed Dr. Khalid Abbas Owish Sukar who joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anaesthesia Technology. Prior to joining GMU he was working in Bakht Al Ruda university in Sudan, where he worked in different capacities from Lecturer to Assistant Professor.

Dr. Khalid has vast experience in Anesthesia. Dr. Khalid was awarded an MSc and PhD in Anesthesia Technology in 2019 from the University of Al Zaiem Al Azhari, Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences and BSc in Anesthesia Technology from Faculty of Anesthesia, University of Medical Sciences & Technology (UMST) in 2006, Sudan.

Dr. Khalid has other qualifications of MBBS and PhD of Physiology. He worked as coordinator of MSc of Anesthesia & ICU program at University of Gezira, Khartoum Campus, postgraduate anesthesia program since 2018 to 2021 and Dean of Technical Institute of Anesthesia for Anesthesia technicians, Ministry of Health in Khartoum state 2017 to 2020.

Dr. Khalid supervised many undergraduate and post graduate students of anesthesia. He has rich experience in research and has many international publications.
