Every year World Stroke Day is observed on 29th October. Students of physiotherapy (BPT: Batch 2019 & Batch 2020 and MPT: Batch 2022) organized a community engagement event to familiarize their GMU peers “A Physiotherapist Approach for Stroke” on 10th November 2022 at Main Foyer, Gulf Medical University.
The event highlighted educational activities of early physiotherapy rehabilitation strategies in mitigating the various deficits among stroke survivors under the supervision of Dr. Srilatha, Dr. Meruna, Dr. Sukumar, Dr. Guru and Dr. Praveen. The session received positive feedback and was appreciated by the participants.
