Students and Alumni of the Department of Physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University organized a community engagement event on 08-09-2022.
The agenda of the session was to promote the theme of World Physiotherapy Day 2022 (Osteoarthritis). Students under the supervision of Dr. Srilatha Girish and other faculty conducted an awareness session on the role of physiotherapy in the prevention and management of osteoarthritis.
Students highlighted facts about osteoarthritis and the role of physiotherapy in its rehabilitation. Various activities were hosted like poster exhibitions, information brochures, and demonstrations of physiotherapy exercises for the BPT freshers (Cohort 2022) and their parents. The session was well received and appreciated by the participants.
