Department of Medical Imaging Sciences, College of Health Sciences (CoHS), hosted a Career Advising Session titled “Current breast Cancer innovations” on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. The interactive and informative session was specifically designed for the students of MIS. The session, conducted by Prof. Patrick Brennan, Professor of Diagnostic Imaging, University of Sydney, Australia, aimed to enlighten participants about the latest advancements in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, equipping them with valuable insights for their future careers in healthcare.
Dr. Rawashdeh, Program Director, mentioned that the Medical Imaging Department is dedicated to providing high-quality medical education as well as participating in advanced research opportunities with local and international communities.
Praveen Kumar, Dean, College of Health Sciences commented: “It is very important that students get opportunity to learn from experts and apply the expert-shared information to all projects at CoHS, GMU.”
The event was attended by a diverse audience, including esteemed faculty members and enthusiastic medical imaging students.
