Department of Medical Imaging Sciences, College of Health Sciences (CoHS), hosted a Career Advising Session titled “Beyond Clinical Skills: Practicing Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace” on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. The interactive and informative session was specifically designed for third and fourth-year students. The session, conducted by Dr. Manal El Refaei, Specialist Radiologist at the Resonance Imaging Centre, aimed to provide valuable insights into the practical application of emotional intelligence in the professional sphere.
The event was attended by a diverse audience, including esteemed faculty members and enthusiastic third and fourth-year students.
Praveen Kumar, Dean, CoHS, emphasized the importance of empowering students with the necessary knowledge to make them ready for the market. He stated, “It is crucial for students to learn from experts and apply the shared information, enabling them with the required knowledge for the market.”
