Students and faculty of Anaesthesia Technology Department of College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University, successfully conducted a Motherhood awareness program on May 12th, 2023, at Thumbay University Hospital on the occasion of World Mother’s Day.
The students and faculty had one to one interaction with brochures and survey questionnaires to mothers who visited the OPD. Main intention of the awareness program is to improve maternal health through education.
Mothers are the guardian angels for their children, always loving and supporting them, so improving maternal health means to improve the health of the family. Also, the students discussed the advantages and disadvantages of Anaesthesia during pregnancy Labour. Overall, the awareness program was a great success, and it improved the knowledge of the Mothers visited the Thumbay University hospital.
