ACP Orientation for BPT students 2022

Department of Physiotherapy, CoHS conducted an orientation program for the new Advanced Clinical Practicum registrants on 01.02.2022.

Advanced Clinical Practicum is a period to be considered as the final phase of undergraduate physiotherapy program spread over 6 months wherein the students are guided to acquire the knowledge, skill and competencies required to function as an entry level physiotherapy practitioner and to facilitate entry into postgraduate physiotherapy education.

Dr. Ramprasad M, Chairperson for Physiotherapy, welcomed the students and delivered a motivational speech. Dr. Watson Arulsingh, Program Director, highlighted the importance of ACP and explained the role and responsibilities planned in Advanced Clinical Practicum. Dr. Satheeskumar D, Clinical Coordinator, delivered Advanced Clinical practicum’s learning and assessment plan.”

Dr. Praveen Kumar Dean, CoHS commented that ACP in the BPT curriculum is a very important feature that enables the students to be trained in real work environment under supervision.
