GMU’s Dr. Mohammad Rawashdeh delivers keynote talks on Medical Imaging Innovations at Kuwait University

Dr. Mohammad Rawashdeh, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Medical Imaging Sciences at CoHS, GMU, was invited by Kuwait University to speak at a conference held at Salwa Hall, Marina Hotel, Kuwait, on February 12-13, 2025. He delivered two guest talks at the event titled ‘Next-Generation Healthcare: Integrating Imaging & Informatics for Collaborative Care.’

Dr. Rawashdeh’s presentations focused on two critical areas in Medical Imaging Sustainability and Human Visual Perception. His first talk explored innovative strategies for optimizing resource usage and minimizing environmental impact within medical imaging departments. His second presentation discussed the potential of human visual perception in enhancing medical imaging techniques and improving diagnostic accuracy and overall patient outcomes.

Both presentations were warmly received by the International Radiology Community, and Event Organizers highlighting the importance of collaboration and innovation in advancing the field of Medical Imaging emphasizing COHS & GMU’s commitment to excellence in medical education and research.
