Dr. Mohamed Zakaria Ahmed Mohamed El-Sayed joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University since August 2024. He is a dedicated professional in the field of Medical Imaging Sciences, with a rich background in teaching, clinical practice, and research. He has over a decade of experience and has honed his expertise in radiology and medical imaging sciences. He earned his PhD from Alexandria University, specializing in medical imaging and radiation sciences.

His career path includes significant roles at various institutions. From October 2014 to November 2021, he served as an Assistant Lecturer and as Lecturer at Pharos University. Transitioning to a new chapter, Dr. Mohamed Zakaria assumed the role of an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology at Pharos University in Alexandria from November 2021 to September 2023. Subsequently, he contributed his expertise as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Medical Imaging Technology at Galala University from September 2023 until August 2024. He served as the Head of Research and Development Department and also as an Executive Director at First Scan Radiology Centers in Egypt.

His commitment to education, coupled with his extensive experience in the field, underscores his passion for advancing medical imaging practices and nurturing the previous and next generations of healthcare professionals.
