First year Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) students, Ms. Irfana Ismail, Ms. Fathima Fida, and Ms. Raafida Sultana, of College of Health Sciences collaborated with the Anatomy Department at GMU and presented a scientific poster ‘Exploring the Dynamics of Flashcard in Anatomical Education’, at the prestigious 3rd UAE Anatomy and Cellular Biology Conference at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi on May 24, 2024.
BPT Program Director, Dr. Kumaraguruparan Gopal, emphasized, along with Dr. Liju Susan Mathew and Dr. Nermine Samir, the enablement of opportunities for collaborative learning in anatomy, which empowers students to make significant contributions to their learning from the early years of their health professional education.
Chairperson, Dr Ramprasad, Physiotherapy department reiterated that this approach reflects the program’s dedication to nurturing future leaders in physiotherapy and its commitment to fostering a culture of clinical practice innovation through collaborative research excellence.
