GMU’s Faculty Dr. Salma Elnour Engages in Bioinformatics Workshop at Stellenbosch University South Africa

Dr. Salma Elnour, Assistant Professor of Microbiology, Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, CoHS, Gulf Medical University, recently attended a Bioinformatics Workshop (5-9 February 2024) at Stellenbosch University, as part of the International Conference of Bioinformatics, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, and Computational Biology.

The workshop provided a platform for professionals to exchange knowledge and explore advancements in bioinformatics and related fields. Dr. Elnour, with her background in microbiology, participated in discussions and activities aimed at enhancing her understanding of computational biology and its applications.

Sharing her insights, Dr. Elnour emphasized the value of networking and learning from peers in the global scientific community. She views the experience as beneficial for her teaching and research roles at Gulf Medical University.
