GMU’s Medical Imaging Sciences students marked World Radiography Day with a passionate celebration focused on Patient Safety

Medical Imaging Sciences students showcased talent within the department on 14.11.2023 through engaging presentations and discussions, students diligently highlighted crucial facets of patient safety, with a specific focus on radiological practices. Topics ranged from essential radiation safety measures to protocols ensuring the well-being of patients, including the safe administration of contrast media and specialized care for expectant mothers undergoing radiographic procedures.

Moreover, the program transcended the confines of the department, extending its reach to a diverse audience, including healthcare professionals, faculty members, and students from various disciplines. The aim was not just to inform but to instill a deep-rooted understanding of the significance of stringent safety measures in every facet of radiographic imaging.
