Final year Physiotherapy students at College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University conducted a “Ergonomics and workstation exercises” interactive session with seminar and demonstrations at Ajman Police General Headquarters on 22nd March 2023 as part of community engagement activity.
The session was aimed to impart knowledge of importance of proper ergonomics and work-related musculoskeletal disorders to the officials at Ajman Police General Headquarters.
Workstation exercises demonstration was conducted by students of final year (ACP) students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy program. The event was organized and planned by students under the guidance of Dr. Waqar Naqvi.
Praveen Kumar Dean, CoHS commented “Community engagement is a very crucial role to be played by all health care professionals which is imparted in GMU students in all programs”.
