Professor Gordana Devecerski, PhD, MS, MD, Full Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad visited the College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University, UAE on Friday, 25th November 2022.
Dr. Gordana delivered a talk on “Recent Trends in Physical Therapy procedures in the treatment of Musculoskeletal disorders” to the Physiotherapy students.
Heading the Department of Degenerative Spine Diseases and Pain Therapy at Clinic for Medical Rehabilitation at Clinical Center of Vojvodina and being expert in painful medical rehabilitation conditions, she explained the students about various recent pain management techniques which can be applied for patients reporting to Physiotherapy clinic with pain. She shared her experiences from her clinics and how she manages the clients back in her country.
Feedback after the session showed that the students found the session to be impactful and the speaker made the session interactive and interesting.
The faculty of the Department of Physiotherapy was grateful to Dr. Gordana Devecerski for her time and for sharing her expertise.
