GMU BPT Graduates Present their research at 8th Biennial Emirates Physiotherapy Conference, Dubai

Ms. Sumaiya Abdulkadir Saleh and Ms. Sarah Joseph graduates of BPT program, CoHS presented a poster titled “EFFECT OF AOT ALONG WITH CONVENTIONAL THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE -A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS” at the 8th Biennial Emirates Physiotherapy Conference on the 15th and 16th of October 2022 held in Conrad, Dubai which was well appreciated by the delegates and international fraternity.  This was the research project they have conducted in the BPT program.

They emphasized the significance of carrying out this research to determine the extent of disease in society, as it is the main cause of impairment in the general population. They also advised that the study’s findings serve as a foundation for the implementation of suitable rehabilitation techniques in the context of Parkinson’s disease patients’ access to healthcare.
