Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, CoHS, in cooperation with Alneelain Stem Cell Center, Sudan organized a carrier advising session on “Career of stem cell technology for medical laboratory science graduates” on Thursday, 24.03. 2022, 2:30 – 3:30 PM in Lecture Hall 4, GMU and the lecture was broadcasted live via Zoom meeting for students of master’s program.
The session was initiated by a welcome address by Dr. Ahmed Luay, Chairperson of the Department of MLS. Talk was delivered by subject expert Dr. Hiba BadrEldin Khalil, Associate Professor of Hematology and stem cell technology, Director of Al-Neelain stem cell center, Sudan.
Dr. Hiba shared information about developing the medical services in UAE, through stem cell research and application of cell therapy, regenerative medicine, and reviving the spirit of teamwork in the medical and educational institutions. followed by detailed information of conduct stem cell research which provides significant services and how to conduct good and safe clinical trials based on ethical consideration.
