A faculty development program was conducted on “Problem Based Learning” on 8th Feb 2018 which was aimed to bring changes in teaching learning method in College of Health Sciences.
Dr.Ramprasad M., Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy, CoHS shared his experiences and practical guidelines to develop PBL Design for a course and curriculum, processes to implement PBL such as student charters, learners dynamics on groups, roles of instructors and assessment emphasizing on progressive disclosure questions which he gained from Maastricht University Course. He also provided critical reflections on PBL in Question & Answer Mode session and explained 7 jump model of PBL.
All faculty members of CoHS attended the presentation and actively participated in the discussion and explored the possibilities of implementing PBL in their respective programs.
