“The best part of this trip was the visit to Charles University: this trip made me compare Gulf Medical University and Charles University and made me realize that both the universities almost work the same way with some differences and made me understand their process of learning medicine. The best place I feel was definitely Prague. The place had so many good tourist locations. It had all the basic needs and it was also a place with an interesting history which made it really attractive. If the university plans on making future trips like these I hope it’s a location like Japan because it’ll be interesting to see their culture and also how medicine works there.”

“This trip was a much-needed break from the stresses of med-school. Getting to explore 4 new countries with my best friends was a very thrilling experience. It’s hard to pick a favorite city because each had its own highlight. I got to try out new activities such as Wake-boarding in Bratislava and riding a Segway in Budapest. This trip made me feel responsible, independent and adventurous. I would love to do it all over again. This time maybe an Asian country like Japan or South Korea!”

My favorite city amongst all 4 had to be Prague, which was our first stop. The historical sites over there and seeing the other medical universities were mesmerizing. My favorite activity had to be a thrill park in Prague, which was the scariest haunted house I have ever experienced, its a must go to anyone who is visiting Prague. Prater theme park in Vienna and wakeboarding in Austria and the Segway tour in Budapest were also really fun. I really hope the university continues these educational international trips if I had to choose the next place to go to it would definitely be Japan! “I absolutely loved the trip! My favorite city was Budapest because it’s such a gorgeous place with the most incredible panoramic view. I really enjoyed walking around the cities and exploring more of their beauty and culture. For the next trip, I’d really like to go to Switzerland or France.”
