Gulf Medical University Hosts MMIs for the University of Central Lancashire MBBS Program

Gulf Medical University (GMU) successfully hosted the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) for the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) MBBS program on February 12, 2025. This event marks a significant milestone for students in GMU’s International Medical Foundation Program, providing them with a direct pathway to pursue medical education at UCLan.
The MMIs, held at GMU’s state-of-the-art Center for Advanced Simulation in Healthcare (C.A.S.H), are a key component of the medical school admission process, assessing candidates on essential skills such as communication, ethical reasoning, and problem-solving core attributes of future healthcare professionals. This collaboration underscores the strong academic partnership between GMU and UCLan, reinforcing their commitment to nurturing the next generation of medical practitioners.
