AORN’S Periop 101: A Core CurriculumTM provides registered nurses who have no previous experience with the basic knowledge and clinical skills necessary to function independently in an entry-level perioperative nursing position. At the completion of this course, the nurse is prepared to practice in a perioperative role. The program is based on the AORN Guidelines for Perioperative Practice, the gold standard of perioperative nursing patient care.
