Dr. Wadeia Mohammad Sharief

Dr. Wadeia Mohammad Sharief has been the Director of Medical Education and Research Department in DHA since 2018. She is providing an effective leadership and efficiency in developing competent future individuals in the field of Medical Education. Apart from being a Consultant Family Physician, she is also the President of Emirates Family Medicine Society and President of Family Medicine Scientific Council, Arab Board of Health Specialization and Chairperson for MRCGP Royal College, UK. Subsequently, continuous learning is highly significant for her, which is why she has extensive academic experiences and currently an Assistant Professor in Medical College and Sharjah University. Her broad role also includes her being the Editor in Chief of Dubai Medical Journal in DHA.

Prior to her journey, Dr. Wadeia Sharief had been a Family Medicine Resident, DOHMS-Dubai on 2002-2006 and she is the first Family Medicine graduate who passed MRCGP-International, Family Medicine Specialty in Dubai Health Authority. She has been a Head of Abu-Hail Centre from 2006-2010 in Medical Affairs Department, PHC, DOHMS, Dubai. She is also the Local Supervisor for the Arab Board Exam from 2010 till date.
