The 2nd Quality Assurance Framework workshop on Optimizing Examsoft Utilization was organized by the QA&IE Unit on 18th November 2021 with the objective to train GMU faculty on the design and implementation of Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) – Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) mapping and assessment in their respective courses.
Prof. Hesham Marei presented the mapping of Course Learning Outcomes to Program Learning Outcomes as developed by the College of Dentistry.
Dr. Walid reflected on how the category report from exported ExamSoft helps in presenting to what extent a specific CLO is achieved by the students and the percentage contribution of each CLO towards a given PLO.
Mr. Sakkir, demonstrated on how faculty can create and post assessments on ExamSoft. This will enable faculty members to download the assessment-related report immediately after the exams to take appropriate actions for the enhancement of learning and assessments as well.
